A delightfully cute posse of meerkats at Blair Drummond Safari Park celebrated the changing of the seasons with a game of hide and seek.
Keepers at the Stirling park filled the animals’ enclosure with the colourful leaves to let them play and dig.
The falling autumn leaves have created a fun game of hide and seek for a group of meerkats.
Hidden in the leaves are meerkats’ favourite treat - mealworms.
For the meerkats, whose species became endeared to the public’s heart thanks to a high profile insurance advert, it was a case if ‘compare the mealworm’.
Park manager Gary Gilmour said: “It helps stimulate their natural digging action and keeps them occupied for hours.
“They love it.”
