A elderly man has died and a driver has been seriously injured following a car crash in North Glasgow.
Strathclyde Police said the 76-year-old man died at the scene after being struck by a car on Hillhead Road, near Robroyston, at about 11:30 on Friday. The 44-year-old man who was driving the car involved has been taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment.
The road is closed between Auchinairn Road and Wallacewell Road, with traffic being diverted via Stanburn Road.
Emergency services are at the scene and inquiries into the crash are continuing.
