POLICE in Edinburgh are appealing for information after a man was seriously injured in a hit-and-run.
The 21-year-old is being treated in the capital’s Western General Hospital following the incident in Kirk Brae, Liberton around 2am yesterday.
Inspector Keith Denholm said: “This pedestrian is suffering from possibly life-changing injuries. He was crossing Kirk Brae from west to east when he was hit by a vehicle between 1:50am and 2am.
“Anyone who knows someone who was driving on Kirk Brae at that time is asked to get in touch.”
The injured man was discovered lying in the road by another driver.
He taken to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary before being transferred to the Western General.
